*Rejection *

Rejection is one of the reasons for loneliness. God’s children may experience rejection by friends and family or others. There are many instances of rejection in the Bible. Whether it be God rejecting an offered sacrifice of man, man rejecting the advice of God, or man rejecting the proposals of his fellow man, in all cases one is deemed unworthy of acceptance by another. This speaks to the possibility of failure and that we are not always guaranteed success. From rejection, it is most important how we respond, taking responsibility for our action to not become resentful as Cain did against Abel. Learn more about dealing with rejection

Israel people rejected God.
Numbers 14:11 ” Then the LORD said to Moses: “How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them?”

Jesus too felt the ‘rejection’
Mark 6:4, “Jesus said to them, ‘Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor.'”

Father and mother may reject.
Psalms 27:10 says, “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.”

Anyone who rejects God’s word is rejecting wisdom.
It’s in the Bible, Jeremiah 8:9, “The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken. Behold, they have rejected the word of the LORD; So what wisdom do they have?”

Jesus was despised and rejected by men and Isaiah prophesied it.
Isaiah 53:3 “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.”

*Jesus himself expressed pain over rejection. *
Luke 13:34, NIV. “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!”

God warned his apostles about ‘rejection’
Luke‬ ‭10:5-11‬ ‭”When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you. Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house. “When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you. Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say, ‘Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’”

Rejection is tough at any age…even babies cry when rejected. God made each of us with the innate desire to be loved and accepted just as we are.

Prayer: Abba Father, I believe that You have send Your only Son and redeemed us from rejection and every consequences of sins. Jesus, You have accepted us and I believe that rejection is the work of evil. I command the spirit of rejection, when people rejected me, my friends rejected me or my parents or my family rejected me, to come out of me now in the name of Jesus. I command the spirit of rejection and self-rejection to come all the way out of me and leave me now never to return in the name of Jesus Christ. I receive acceptance from you Lord, you are my Father and I know you love me. I break the power of this illness, disorder, infirmity and rejection in the name of Jesus Christ and I apply the blood of Jesus upon me. I decree and declare that I am accepted by my God and none can separate me from the love of God, Jesus, You are my my Refuge and my Fortress and my God, in whom I trust. Hallelujah. I pray by the name of Jesus. Amen.
