LEARN and PRACTICE the WORD of GOD
Prepare for Christmas – December 10
Choice
Choices Create Our Future. Since choices often result in eternally significant consequences, we must choose in line with God’s principles
Deuteronomy 30:15 “Today I am giving you a choice between good and evil, between life and death“.
One of the gifts of the human level of existence is consciousness—to know; to know that we know; and further, to know what we don’t know. So consider the following before choose something…
- You must seek and understand God’s will according to God’s words and on the basis of God’s requirements of man
- Seek the truth before you choose the options.
- During trials and refinement, seek to understand God’s will and requirements, so as to accurately practice the truth, truly obey God and stand witness.
- Seek to understand the truth in matters that relate to principles of the truth and your duty, and use the truth to resolve problems.
- Choose something that interests you and not harming the spirituality and physically.
- Choose a topic that is feasible or affordable
- Choose a topic that is worthy
- Choose the best by considering how it will affect others
- Choose the best option privately
- Remember your strength and weakness before choose the options
- Consequences of every choice are self-dependant.
- Pray and seek the will of God
- Consult with elders – experienced people
- Before seek the will of God, decide that you will obey God’s decisions
- Choices may influence by finances, colour, location, presentation, etc but make sure that none should influence your actual requirements
- Choose something that has life
- Choose something that is not hurting you
- Do not choose something by any type of threatening
- Choice must be based on the fruit
- Choices must be based on availability
- Choices must be based on faith
- Use your tongues to speak the life before choose the options.
- Choice must be based on true love
- Choices must make you happy
- Choice must strengthen your relationship with God
