God’s Promises of healing to the afflicted one. 

Psalm 41:3 The LORD will sustain him upon his sickbed; In his illness, You restore him to health.

Way to receive God’s Healing Power. 

I. Through the Gift of Healing. 
Healing is a gift of God and the following key factors are important to operate the gift of healing. Psalm 94:12 Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O LORD, And whom You teach out of Your law.

1. The spiritual gift of healing is the supernatural manifestation of the Spirit of God. 
One of the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12 is the gifts of healings. Isaiah 53:5 “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” 1 Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
So if God cares so much about physical healing, then we should also care about it.

2. Gift of healing working based on of God’s favor and unfailing love towards us.
Job‬ ‭5:17-18‬ ‭”Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. For he wounds, but he also binds up; he injures, but his hands also heal.”
‭‭Psalm 147:3 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Psalm‬ ‭5:12 “Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield”.

3. Healing cannot be earned or worked for. 
Acts‬ ‭8:18-21‬ ‭ “When Simon (sorcerer) saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money and said, “Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit.” Peter answered: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God.”
‭‭The above event proves that none can purchase or earned gift of the Holy Spirit by money or personal efforts.

4. Healing is an outpouring of His grace. 
This is a gift of grace that is given to the people of God.
2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9-10‬ “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

5. Healing is the will of God to heal everyone. 
It is not just given to a few select individuals, but is given as the God’s wills, so anyone can be given this gift at any time.
Luke‬ ‭5:12-13‬ “While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.”
‭‭The above Word proves that God is always willing to heal one who approaches Him.

6. God destroys the work of evil and He healed the sick. 
It is the power of God that destroys the work of sin and/or the devil in the human body, such as the healings that Jesus and the disciples performed Matthew 8:16 “When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.”
Matthew 4:24 “News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them.”
‭‭There are many events available in the New Testament that proves Jesus destroyed the Work of evil and He offered healing.

7. Healing work through faith. 
Mark‬ ‭11:24‬ ‭ “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
‭‭This is a brief lesson on faith right here! Faith believes it takes what is needed when it prays. That’s exactly what we must do when we pray for healing.
If you need a healing, you can’t sit back and wait for God to drop it down on you. You have to do what it takes so you can rise up in faith and take what rightfully belongs to you!

Prayer: We confess our need for You today. We need Your healing and your grace. We need hope restored. We need to be reminded that you work on behalf of those you love, constantly, powerfully, completely. Forgive us for trying to fix our situations all on our own. Forgive us for running all different directions and spinning our wheels to find help, when true help and healing must be found only in You. We come to you and bring you the places we are hurting. You see where no one else is able to fully see or understand. You know where we need to be set free. We ask for your healing and grace to cover every broken place. Thank You that you are able to do far more than we could ever imagine. Thank you for your Mighty Power that acts on behalf of us. We reach out to You, and know that You are restoring and redeeming every place of difficulty, every battle, for Your greater glory. Thank You that You will replace our pain and suffering with Your grace. We love You. We need You today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
