TEN Events / List of People – raised From the dead by God because He is Omnipotent.

1. Widow of Zarephath’s son, by Elijah.

1 Kings 17:22 “The LORD answered Elijah’s prayer; the child started breathing again and revived.”

2. Shunammite woman’s son, by Elisha.

‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭4:34-35‬ “Then he lay down on the boy, placing his mouth, eyes, and hands on the boy’s mouth, eyes, and hands. As he lay stretched out over the boy, the boy’s body started to get warm. Elisha got up, walked about the room, and then went back and again stretched himself over the boy. The boy sneezed seven times, and then opened his eyes.”

3. Man raised when he came into contact with Elisha’s bones.

2 Kings‬ ‭13:20-21‬ ‭”Elisha died and was buried. Every year bands of Moabites used to invade the land of Israel. Once, during a funeral, one of those bands was seen, and the people threw the corpse into Elisha’s tomb and ran off. As soon as the body came into contact with Elisha’s bones, the man came back to life and stood up.”

4. Widow’s son from Nain’s town, by Jesus.

Luke‬ ‭7:14-15‬ ‭ “Then he walked over and touched the coffin, and the men carrying it stopped. Jesus said, “Young man! Get up, I tell you!” The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.”

5. Jairus’ daughter, by Jesus.

Luke‬ ‭8:52-55‬ “Everyone there was crying and mourning for the child. Jesus said, “Don’t cry; the child is not dead — she is only sleeping!” They all laughed at him, because they knew that she was dead. But Jesus took her by the hand and called out, “Get up, my child!” Her life returned, and she got up at once, and Jesus ordered them to give her something to eat.”

Prayer: O God, you are my life. You have breathed into me the breath of life, and I have become a living being. My very existence and my being flow from you. In you I live and move and have my being. You are the Vine, and I am a true branch of yours. Father, you have made me alive with Christ. Jesus has become the second Adam one who wiped out sin. He came that I might have life, and have it abundantly. I have Jesus Christ, and I have his life in me and Christ is now my life. Amen.
