God is omnipotent

3. Life and death are subject to God’s Will and Word and Satan does not have any right to kill God’s people

1. Dead will listen the voice of God and will raise.
John 5:28-29 Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out….

2. Dead will raise and visit Holy cities after the resurrection of Jesus – Omnipotent God
Matthew 27:52-53 The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus’ resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

3. God will change His decision if a person repent and cry to Him.
1 Kings 20:1, 4-6 In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the LORD says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.” Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the LORD came to him: “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, ‘This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the LORD. I will add fifteen years to your life…'”

4. Omnipotent God manifest His power to all His believers too.
John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die
Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him

5. God’s Omnipotent power manifest up on all who receive His Word.
John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life

6. God’s Omnipotent power will manifest upon all who *believe in the name of Jesus. *
John 20:31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name

Satan does not have unrestricted power over death.
Many people unknowingly think that Satan can cause death directly. There is no basis for this in the Bible. Satan can tempt people into situations the natural consequences of which normally lead to death, e.g., drug addiction or showing off by driving recklessly etc. If Satan had the power to kill at his sole discretion, he would simply kill every person who lives in righteousness.

Prayer: O God, our Creator, all life is in your hands from conception until death. Help us to cherish us and our family. May all Your people live and die in dignity and love gifted by You. Bless all those who defend the rights of the unborn, the handicapped and the aged. Enlighten and be merciful toward those who fail to love, and fail to receive peace. Let freedom be tempered by responsibility, integrity and morality. We pray by the name of Jesus. Amen.
