LEARN and PRACTICE the WORD of GOD

The personality of God

God’s Promises Special rewards to the children who keep His commandments.

6. THE ASSURANCE OF SALVATION. Many Christians lack the assurance of their salvation, but God wants us to know that we are eternally secure in Christ our Saviour.
Colossians 3:3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
1 John 3:24 “The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.”…

7. ANSWERS TO PRAYER. There is a wonderful promise in 1 John 3:22 “and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.”
‭‭where we also discover why some of our prayers are not answered. If we seek to obey God, He promises to answer our prayers.

8. THE CONSCIOUS PRESENCE OF CHRIST.  John 14:21 “Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

9. GOD GUARANTEES HIS PRESENCE. We are only made really conscious of His presence when we are obeying Him. The Lord is always with us – Matthew 28:20 “and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Hebrews 13:5 “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

10. BEAR GOOD FRUITS. He said: “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit” –
John 15:1-2 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” Pruning” includes the Father’s loving discipline to correct our faults Hebrews 12:5-11. “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:4-5). Obey on God and great things will happen!
