Psalms 37:18 The Lord knows the days of the blameless . . .

“Blameless” means “complete, or perfect,” which ultimately means those who are permanently accepting Christ as their Savior and washed by the blood of Jesus. So, if that lives in you, relax! God is in such total control of our life. And there’s nothing we need to do to upgrade it: And which of you by being anxious can add a single cubit to his life’s span – Matthew 6:27

All the diets, all the running, all the worldly concerns, mean virtually nothing compared to what we are supposed to be concerned about—eternal things. In fact, the best part of the above “Verse For The Day” comes in the second half, which shows us what’s most important: that quote – their inheritance will be forever – Psalm 37:18

And Jesus answered and said to him, “It is said, ‘YOU SHALL NOT PUT THE LORD YOUR GOD TO THE TEST.'” – Luke 4:12
We do have a responsibility to make good decisions each and every moment.
All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. -Hebrews 12:11

Just keep your emphasis and priorities on the long-term, eternal, and rest in God’s love and protection. Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. -Psalm 37:7

Prayer: Heavenly Father, bless us with the courage to face each new day with all its challenges. Remind us that You are greater than our perception of who You are, and in all things, You prevail. Amen.
