How to be a witness for Christ?
1. Trust the Lord – Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart …
2. Declare your identity – I am a chosen… of God – 1 Peter 2.9
3. Do everything in the name of Jesus Christ – Colossians 3.17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
4. Accept God’s work – Colossians 3:24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
6. Acknowledge God’s work by giving thanks to God –
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
7. Share to others what God has done for you – It is called testimony. Sharing your testimony with others is a must for all Christians. When giving your testimony you tell how you came to trust in Christ alone as your Lord and Savior. You tell how God opened your eyes on how you were a sinner in need of a Savior. Testimony bring victory – Revelation 12:11
Holy Spirit filled children of God can only testify. John 15:26-27 “When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of Truth, who comes from the Father—he will testify on my behalf. You will testify also, because you have been with me from the beginning. SO PROVE IT THAT YOU ARE FILLED WITH HOLY SPIRIT
Mark 5:19 But Jesus said, “No, go home to your family, and TELL THEM EVERYTHING THE LORD HAS DONE FOR YOU and how merciful he has been.”
Psalm 22:22 I will praise you to all my brothers; I WILL STAND UP BEFORE THE CONGREGATION AND TESTIFY OF THE WONDERFUL THINGS YOU HAVE DONE.
Prayer: My God and my Lord, You are the Author of every good work in my life but I could not make it as a testimony. Give us the courage and anointing to testify your work. I love You and thank You for everything you have done for us. Apart from you, I can do nothing. Be with us, lead us and use us for your Kingdom. We pray by the name of Jesus. Amen
