9. Work for meaningful relationships.

Make friendship or sustain friendship is a gift of God. Good friends can help you to overcome loneliness. The definition of a good friend varies from person to person, but there are certain traits, characteristics, and qualities that make good friend as meaningful friendship. Let’s look a few good characteristics of ‘good and meaningful’ friends.

Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
Philippians 2:3-4 “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”
1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

*Tips to create meaningful relationship. *

1. Take an inventory of the relationships – what you lost and what you have?
2. Fostering open communication.
3. Building trust.
4. Don’t expect anything from others
5. Managing the pace.
6. Controlling your emotions.
7. Creating mutually-beneficial outcomes.
8. Don’t allow others to dictate your emotions.
9. Put in some effort to restore lost relationship, it it worth.
10. Give considerable attention to others.
11. Express genuine interest in others needs.
12. Respect others views.
13. Listen gently.
14. Control Word and keep-up the word
15. Never take any public comments personally.
16. Socialize effectively.
17. Practice humbleness and kindness.
18. Show mercy.
19. Be an active part of fellowship.
20. Give respect and earn respect.
21. Anticipate only positives.
22. Be a team player and team leader.
23. Show gratitude.

25. Help someone everyday.

40. Life is meant to be joyful, fun, adventurous, meaningful and exciting. St. Paul says ‘rejoice at all the time’.

Jesus says‭ John‬ ‭15:15‬“I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”

Jesus is the best Friend.

Prayer: Abba Father, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart and replace it with love, joy, peace, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my friend, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of us, fill us with much love. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. Make our painful relationship become peaceful. Make our misunderstandings become understanding. Make our broken relationship become united. I seek for Your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Thank You Lord for hearing my prayer. I love You. Amen.
