How to overcome rejection?
Rejection is one of the enemies work and make it hard for us to move to the next level in our lives. But the Lord has given you the necks of your enemies, and you will destroy them in the name of Jesus. Romans 16:20 “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.”
I. *Know the truth of your value and truth will set you free. *
1. Nothing happens in your life without the knowledge of Jesus.
Luke 12:7 “Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.”God knows everything in your life.
2. *You are the same image of God. *
Genesis 1:27 “God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them”. Your value begins with the fact that you are made by the hand of the Creator in His very image.
3. *Mother or father may forget but God never forget you. *
Isaiah 49:15 Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you”. Even if you are forsaken by family and friends, you are always cherished in the heart of God.
4. *God has a great plan for you. *
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” God’s thoughts toward you are wonderful, and He has great plans for your life!
5. *None can separate us from the love of God. *
Jeremiah 31:3 “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you”. His love for you is relentless, immeasurable, and infinite.
6. *Christ offered His life to save us. *
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”. The Creator of life loves you so intensely that He allowed His own Son to die in your place before you ever repented.
7. *You are redeemed by the Blood of Jesus. *
1 Peter 1:18,19 Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold … but with the precious blood of Christ”. God was willing to pay the highest price in the universe to redeem you—the blood of His dear Son.
8. *You are a new creation. *
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”. If you belong to Jesus, you have a brand new, sparkling-clean life in Him.
9. You are the child of God.
1 John 3:1 “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!”. God actually considers you His very own precious child.
10. *You are the partaker of Jesus. *
Ephesians 2:4-7 “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ … that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus”. Your heavenly Father has planned a magnificent, never-ending future for you.
11. You are the ambassador of Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:20. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us”. God has given you a high calling as an ambassador to share His great love with others.
12. *You are qualified to inherit the blessing. *
Colossians 1:12 “and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.”
Prayer: Abba Father, I believe that Jesus died for me, rose for me and seated at the right hand of the Father for me. Lord, I come before you today, please help me to overcome rejection in the name of Jesus. Lord, I commit my life into your hand, please lift me up above every form of rejection in the name of Jesus. It is written, “the stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone”. Lord, please make me a precious and indispensable cornerstone, in the name of Jesus. Lord, just as Daniel was preferred above all the chosen, let me receive unmerited preference among the chosen, in the name of Jesus. I pray. Amen.
