Daily Bible Study – Immanuel experience…

LEARN and PRACTICE the WORD of GOD

A thought : Immanuel experience

Isaiah‬ ‭6:6-7‬ ‭…“See, this (live coal from the heavenly altar touched Isaiah’s tongs) has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

LIVE COAL FROM THE HEAVEN…
Isaiah, around 740 BC, was one of God’s most prolific prophets. He gave many of the incredible Messianic prophecies including: The Messiah’s virgin birth.
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. —Isaiah 7:14
– His taking on the sins of the world.
Surely our griefs He Himself bore,
– And our sorrows He carried;
– Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,
– Smitten of God, and afflicted.
– But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
– He was crushed for our iniquities;
– The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
– And by His scourging we are healed.
– All of us like sheep have gone astray,
– Each of us has turned to his own way;
– But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all

To fall on Him. —Isaiah 53:4-6
     See also Isaiah 53:10-12
– His triumph over death.
But the LORD was pleased
– To crush Him, putting Him to grief;
– If He would render Himself as a guilt offering,
– He will see His offspring,
– He will prolong His days,
– And the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand. —Isaiah 53:10
– His being a light to the Gentiles.
I am the LORD, I have called You in righteousness,
– I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You,
– And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people,

As a light to the nations —Isaiah 42:6
     See also Isaiah 49:8-9
– That He would govern and judge the world.
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us;
– And the government will rest on His shoulders;
– And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. —Isaiah 9:6. See also Isaiah 11:3-5, 42:1, 4
He was God’s mouthpiece on earth during a time when ten of the twelve Jewish tribes turned their back on God.
But when Isaiah came face to face with the righteous God of the universe (Isaiah 6), saw Him sitting on His throne in all His majesty, he immediately saw that his actions, as well as his thoughts, were falling woefully short of God’s perfection. Regardless of who we are, compared to God’s holiness, the impurity of human sin is painfully evident. We too have an appointment with God.

Prayer: Abba Father, let Your live coal touch our tongs and purify us so that we we will be holy. As You are holy let us also be holy. We sprinkle the blood of Jesus upon us and let the fire come upon us and anoint us. Let Your Fire wash out our filth and enlighten God’s plan on our life. We pray by the name of Jesus. Amen.
