How to overcome rejection?

III. *Resist the spirit of rejection. *
Your true identity is that you are a son or daughter of God, and HE loves you even if you act according to the lies of the spirit of rejection. But St. Paul warns
Ephesians‬ ‭4:27‬ ‭”and do not give the devil a foothold.”
Matthew‬ ‭18:7‬ “Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!”

How the spirit of rejection may have gained a foothold in our lives?

1. Spirit of rejection will separate from God.
2. *Spirit of rejection will separate from yourself. *
3. Spirit of rejection will separate from others.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I have gone away from the joy and Peace and I feel that I am far away from You, estranged from the God who created me and the Saviour Who died on the cross to pay the price for my sins. Lord it is as if I have been covered with a worldly and fleshly shroud that has caused me to wander so far away from You that I have become more like the world than many that are in the world – Forgive me Lord, for wandering so far from You. Forgive me for being pulled so far away from You and back into the ways of the world. Forgive me for my worldly ways and my fleshly desires. Forgive me for leaving my first Love – the Lord Jesus Christ. Deliver me, I pray from the life into which I have now become so embroiled and return to me the joy and Peace of my Salvation. Thank You for forgiving my sins. I believe that I received life from Blood of Jesus, I pray by the name of Jesus. Amen.
