The personality of God

God is a living God – He hears, sees, knows, feels, wills, acts, and has a personality. He is to be distinguished from idols, which are things, not persons. He is to be distinguished from the things He created, such as Heaven and Earth.

1.0 God can hear
Psalms 116:1 I love the Lord because he hears my prayers and answers them. 2 Because he bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I breathe!
Psalms 34:4 For I cried to him and he answered me! He freed me from all my fears.
2 Kings 19:4 It may be that the LORD your God will hear all the words of the field commander, whom his master, the king of Assyria, has sent to ridicule the living God, and that he will rebuke him for the words the LORD your God has heard. Therefore pray for the remnant that still survives.”

2.0 God can hear before you call
Isaiah 65:24 Even before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear.

3.0 God not only hear but record in the Book of Remembrance about what the people who have fear of God – whatever they think or talk about Him
Malachi 3:16 Then those who feared and loved the Lord spoke often of him to each other. And he had a Book of Remembrance drawn up in which he recorded the names of those who feared him and loved to think about him.

4.0 God hears everything and He answer our voice when it is according to His will
1 John 5:14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

5.0 God hears and saves those who fear Him
Psalm 145:19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.

Prayer: Our Lord and God Jesus, You are Holy and True. You are the Most High God. You give us life. You hold all power in your hands. You are the Mighty one from God who carries the world, and You are the Ruler over the earth. You Oh Most Blessed One, You are the giver of life. In you are only good things. In you is mercy and love. In you is healing of the nations. In you is freedom of worry and freedom of pain. Lord Almighty, You loved us so much. Have mercy upon us. Let us bear good fruit according to Your will and plan. Apart from you, we can do nothing. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit and let us walk in Your Ways. We pray by the name of Jesus. Amen.
