Divine Healing from the Inner Wounds…

Humility

(Continuation from yesterday..)
Humility in action
Many people misunderstand the Bible, God, and humility. They think humility means being weak or passive. That’s not God’s message to us. The following statements show the power in humility.
1. You can defuse arguments when you are humble.
2. You don’t need to stand up for yourself in an angry manner. And you don’t have to win every argument.
3. Always give gentle answer. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. (Proverbs 15:1)
4. Listen carefully and gently before replay
5. Surrender to God unconditionally
6. Ask God to help for everything
7. Make every effort to live in peace for mutual edification
8. When opportunity comes, help others
9. Express gratitude to others
10. Express appreciation to others
11. Treat others with respect
12. Be active in life
13. Avoid “I” and accept “we or us”
14. Use our talents and capabilities for the Kingdom of God
15. Control self
16. Pray for humility
17. Show humbleness in communication
18. Be humble to superiors and subordinates.
19. Face everything and rise
20. Study the life of saints and see how they they have reached ‘sainthood’. Example – mother Theresa
21. Always ready for reconciliation and forgiveness.
22. Imitate Jesus Christ
23. Humbleness is to practice and implement
24. Let others say you are humble
25. Open the divine channel to receive blessings.
Prayer: God, I am far too often influenced by what others think of me. I am always pretending to be either richer or smarter or nicer than I really am. Please prevent me from trying to attract attention. Don’t let me gloat over praise on one hand or be discouraged by criticism on the other. Nor let me waste time weaving imaginary situations in which the most heroic, charming, witty person present is myself. Show me how to be humble of heart, like you.
