Loneliness – causes and remedy.

Hebrews 13:5 “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” – Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have.
Matthew 28:20 “and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.””
‭‭
*God never allowed us to be alone. * In the beginning God found Adam was alone and He introduced Eve because He did not want Adam to be alone. *God reject ‘Loneliness’ *

*Being alone and being lonely are two different things. One can be alone without being lonely, and one can be lonely in a crowded room. *

Loneliness is, therefore, a state of mind, an emotion brought on by feelings of separation from other human beings.

How Loneliness Entraps?

* Loneliness impacts our perceptions such that we are likely to view our existing relationships more negatively and pessimistically.
* Our negativity and reluctance to give our friends the benefit of the doubt creates a self-fulfilling prophecy in which our own reactions and avoidance pushes them away even further.
* Loneliness is very visible to others who are likely to label us as less interesting and less appealing as social prospects.
* Loneliness is contagious.

Galatians 5:1-26 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery……. You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. For through the Spirit, by faith, we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness. …

Prayer: Abba Father thank You for this wonderful day. Today is the day You have made for us. My God and Lord, forgive all my shortsightedness. I sinfully prefer my earthly comfort over the comfort of my holiness. Forgive me for the smallness of my faith. Despite what my flesh craves, my spirit craves Your will for me more. I want to share Your holiness and bear the peaceful fruit of righteousness. So, do whatever it takes until you have completed your good work in me. For I want more than anything to trust in you in all things at all times. I receive Your promise that “I never be alone”. Have mercy upon me. Your grace is sufficient for me. I pray this in your name and for the sake of your glory. Amen.
