How to overcome rejection?
II. Tear down that house of wrong thinking
1. Watch over your heart.
Proverbs 4:23 “Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life”
2. *Mouth speaks what come out from heart. *
Luke 6:45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart
3. *Do not be anxious about anything. *
Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
4. *Prepare and act wisely. *
1 Peter 1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ
5. *Renew your mind. *
Romans 12:2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect
6. *Set mind for joy. *
Philippians 2:2-8 make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
7. *Train and control thoughts. *
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things
Prayer: Abba Father, Have mercy upon us and let me understand the situation. Yes, it is the time for me to forget the past, forget the mistakes and focus what You are doing in my life. But I do understand Your goodness to me. Help me to replace the fears threatening to consume me with truth. Thank You for all You are doing for me. I know You love me, You are for me, and I absolutely can trust You with all of my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
